COVID-19 / POST PANDEMIC GUIDLINES
We have always prided ourselves on providing a safe/hygienic environment at our clinic. If you are by any reason still unsure about booking your appointment, we are happy to discuss any of your individual concerns so please feel to get in touch!
If you are feeling unwell by any means, please get in touch to reschedule your appointment.
We reserve the right to amend or adjust Covid-19 guidelines based on the government policy to protect the safety of all staff & clients.
PATCH TESTING & FORMS
Patch test required 48hrs prior to all waxing, tinting, lash lifting treatments. Patch tests are also required for some advanced skin treatments. If it has been over 12 months since the last treatment at Thea’s, a new patch test is required.
A consultation form must be completed and signed for all treatments.
Please notify your therapist if there are any medical changes or new allergies since your last visit.
To ensure a treatment is safe and suitable, we may require a doctor’s note or be unable to proceed with a treatment if a client is contra-indicated.
ATTENDANCE, MINORS, CANCELATION & RESCHEDULE POLICY
A 100% booking deposit is required for all new bookings
30% deposit is required for all re-bookings
All Clients must attend their treatments alone (excluding minors). Children cannot be left unattended at the clinic, and for safety reasons, they cannot be with you during your treatment.
Anyone under the age of 18 must notify the Clinic before their treatment, and a parent/guardian must attend the appointment and complete a consultation form. We can not offer treatments for clients under 16 years. Failure to inform the salon before the appointment may result in the appointment being cancelled and deposits lost.
We have a strict 48hr cancellation policy. Clients must contact the Clinic to cancel their appointments by calling or emailing the clinic during our regular opening hours or to cancel their appointments online through the online booking system 48hrs in advance of their treatment time.
If you have failed to follow the 48 hr cancellation policy, the full treatment fee will be applied and a prepaid deposit will be lost. We will require a full treatment payment while taking your next appointment.
Failure to follow the 48hr cancellation policy for a course will result in the loss of the treatment in the course.
Clients must arrive on time for their appointments. Arriving late may result in your treatment needing to be shortened or cancelled and you will still be charged for the full length of service. If you are delayed for a scheduled appointment, please contact us as soon as possible so we can adjust your appointment time or reschedule if necessary.
If you need to reschedule an appointment, please contact us directly at least 48 hours before the appointment time so we can reschedule it without charge.
If an appointment is rescheduled with less than 48-hour notice, it is deemed a cancellation and will result in a 100% charge for the appointment you originally booked.
GIFT VOUCHERS
Vouchers must be presented at the time of purchase to be redeemed. Without the physical voucher or voucher code, we cannot process a voucher as payment.
We do not take responsibility for keeping a record of an individual’s voucher; it is up to the individual to ensure they have it at the time of purchase to redeem their voucher.
Voucher bookings must be made directly by contacting us by email, SMS, or call and presenting the voucher code.
All Voucher bookings are subject to our 48h cancellation policy. Gift Vouchers can not be redeemed through our booking online—no refunds will be issued. Prepaid balance can be stored for your next visit
Purchasing or using the gift card means you are accepting these Terms and Conditions. We may, at its complete discretion, refuse to sell gift vouchers or offer appointments to any person at any time for any reason.
You can not let another person use your Gift Voucher. The Gift Voucher may only be used to purchase services at Thea’s Skin and Beauty Clinic.
Gift Vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash, returned for a refund, have their balances consolidated to a new Gift Card and are not legal tender, account cards, credit or debit cards or securities. Anyone holding the Gift Voucher can use its value to book treatments, so your Gift Card should be kept secure.
If your Gift Card is deleted, lost or stolen, immediately report this to Thea’s Skin and Beauty Clinic. We may be able to stop the Gift Voucher value being used but we take no responsibility and are not liable for any loss suffered by you because of a lost or stolen Gift Voucher. We won’t replace a faulty, deleted, lost or stolen Gift Voucher.
Gift Vouchers will be void if they are defaced, mutilated, altered or tampered with in any way. We may subject Gift Vouchers to verification and security checks in our absolute discretion.
We may cancel any Gift Vouchers, or the Gift Voucher scheme, for any reason at any time without notice. If so, we may either provide a refund or a replacement Gift Voucher of equivalent value unless we reasonably suspect a fraud in relation to a Gift Voucher. The Gift Voucher remains the property of Thea’s Skin and Beauty Clinic.
Vouchers that are given by Thea’s Skin and Beauty Clinic (as a gift or in packages) can only be used for full, regular price treatments only – not packages or discounted services.
Regular Full Price Gift Vouchers that the customer purchase has no expiry date – unless the voucher has been offered to a client with compliments/reward from us or as a limited discounted service! T&C will Apply
TIPS / GIFTS & GRATUITY
Gratuity and Gifts are always welcome and greatly appreciated! For a seamless client experience, we now accept cash or card gratuities. Please note, in order to leave a gratuity through a card, you would needs to insert a physical card into the terminal. Thank you for all your support!
USING MOBILE PHONES DURING THE TREATMENT
We request that all mobile phones must be switched off (or silence) during your treatment to ensure you fully relax and enjoy your experience.

SERVICE GUARANTEE
You can always talk to us if you’re not happy with our services or customer service, our aim is to listen and make you feel relaxed enough that you can talk to us and we will endeavour to do our very best to resolve it. Your satisfaction is our highest priority. If you are not completely contented, please let us know during your treatment or within 24 hours after your service has been performed. We are committed to making any needed corrections if there was a fault on our side.
